Lemme Swatch It!

Heyyoooo I'm back! Entah sudah berapa lama aku nggak update blog , malu juga liat tanggal postingan terakhir 🙈.  Walaupun aku jarang nge-blog tahun lalu, bukan berarti aku jarang beli makeup. Justru aku boros belanja makeup terutama menjelang akhir tahun ( thanks to christmas sale, end of year sale, flash sale, etc).  Jadi.. untuk post pertama tahun 2017 ini, aku mau bahas produk-produk favorit aku yang paling sering aku pakai sepanjang tahun kemaren, diantaranyaaaa...: 1. Nivea Lip Butter (Vanilla Macadamia) | REVIEWED | Dulu aku sempet hopeless sama lip balm. Nggak ada yang cocok. Semua bikin bibirku makin kering, dan aku risih karena instead of being absorbed by the lips , si lip balm cuma nemplok aja di atas bibir. Nivea Lip Butter ini satu-satunya yang bener-bener melembabkan bibir. Kalau bibir lagi kering, dalam hitungan menit aja setelah pakai lip butter ini langsung jadi lembab. Walaupun ada residunya sedikit, nggak bikin risih sama sekal...

My obsession to all things Korean or K-pop has been gone a long time ago. Back then there was no gradient lips, just a normal one shade lips, nothing too crazy. Until last year when I began to confess my love to make up, I started to realize different kinds of trends in the make up world. I tried western, middle east, or asian trends, including gradient lips. Sebenarnya yang suka sama gradient lips itu adek ku yang emang cenderung lebih tertarik sama Korean Make Up look yang kesannya lebih natural dan anti ribet, jadi dia suruh aku coba bikin gradient lips .  When I first tried it, it felt weird. I always thought looking cute is not my thing since I have this resting b*  face the whole time, so looking cute would make it seem like I'm trying too hard. But as time goes by, I tried it again.. and looking cute is actually not bad at all.  So I have been experimenting with different lipstick combos to create the gradient lips like those K-pop stars have, now I'm go...

Sticking to the liquid lipstick hype that doesn't seem to be leaving in at least to the end of this year, I'm curious to try some other brands after being impressed with the LA Girl Flat Finish Pigment Gloss. But as a college student with limited budget, I try to keep it less than 150K for each lipstick. As much as I wanted to try Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks in Lolita also the newly released Veronica and Trust Issue from Anastasia Beverly Hills, let's be real, they're too pricey for me. I'd rather save my money to buy shoes, bags, or books, which I know can be used for years, instead of a piece of liquid lipstick that probably doesn't even contain a full spoon of rice.

I finally have a haul post! Yaaaay! It's a collective haul actually since I don't get them all at once. I managed to resist the temptation to buy make up on Ramadan, ya know you gotta hold it back. And thankfully, after back and forth looking at some online shops and put everything I want on the cart, I still got to keep myself from buying everything. As I always have a soft spot for lipsticks, lipsticks took a big part in this haul. Before I talk too much, let's get to the details!
