REVIEW : Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks (Instigator, Beeper, Stingraye)

Hello everyone, I apologize in advance for another lipstick review, cause despite the fact that I have no job and basically broke, I still managed to buy at least one lipstick every month! Nggak tau diri banget ya gue? Tapi gimana dong, walaupun udah jarang buka Bloglovin, scrolling instagram tetep jalan, tau sendiri godaan olshop di instagram kayak gimana, I know I need help. I'm a bit late for trying out these Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks, a lot of brands already released their own liquid lipsticks that I'd love to try as well, but hey, better late than never right?!. Before I start to rambling out of topic, let's just get to the review shall we?. *Standar orang Indonesia yang hobi ngobrol, nyapa dikit aja bisa berlanjut ngobrol satu jam (ya nggak? ya nggak? hehe)*

L - R : Instigator, Beeper, Stingraye

Starting from the texture, just like the name says, it is liquidy, not too thick, not too runny. Pokoke pas di bibir kalo menurut gue, soalnya kalo terlalu kentel pasti berasa kayak cat, kalo ke enceran bisa meleber kemana-mana terus susah disesuain sama bentuk bibir. And just like other liquid lipsticks, Colourpop use little doe foot applicator that fits perfectly on to my lips, making it easier to draw on the lipstick following the shape of the lips, it also picks up just the right amount of product in one dip, so you don't have to dip back in to get more product, yang menurut gue bolak balik celup itu rempong dan cenderung bikin lipstiknya malah jadi belepotan di bagian keluarnya lipstik yang ada ulir-ulir untuk penutupnya itu loh, tau kan? suka berakhir mubazir biasanya lipstik yang nyantol disitu terus nempel di tangkai aplikatornya. 

Packaging has never been a big deal for me, and I think this Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipstick packaging is pretty. I love that it's made out of plastic so it's light, it's transparent so I get to see the colour of the product inside, jadi nggak mesti bolak balik liat label buat tau nama shade-nya. Plus the shiny silver lid makes it look more elegant for a $5 product. Okay hand swatches, texture, and packaging are done, moving on for more details...

First up Beeper. It's funny that this shade goes first, when it's actually not the last Colourpop Liquid Lipstick that I bought, but it's the only one that came from the first batch, which has thinner texture, dries a lot faster, and slightly more drying on the lips. It's a brown shade with a hint of pink that somehow appears to be a tad greyish too on me. Overall it is such a beautiful neutral shade that can never go wrong. In fact, I've been using this shade on top of my Eternally Creme Brulee Smoothie Lip Creme a lot lately, it turned out to be similar to Kylie Jenner's Lip Kit in the shade Dolce K! You know how hard to get those lipsticks are, and the price.. don't even let me start to talk about the price, cause #dasespensivee.

Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the brightest of them all?. It's Instigator obviously!. Entah kenapa bibir gue keliatan jeding banget disini (-__-'). Instigator is the only bright shade that caught my eyes, while the rest of other pinks/peaches looks okay to me. It's a peachy pink shade that flatters and brightens up my warm skin tone. Unlike Beeper, Instigator came from the second batch which is more creamier and sets a bit longer to a matte finish. I personally don't mind, cause this shade is so pretty, and although it's on the creamier side, that doesn't mean this shade last less longer than the first batch. It's just become more comfortable also less drying on the lips. Score!

Shout out to The Queen Raye for creating this stunning mauvey brown shade. Trust me, it's darker in person and it makes it look vampy. I LOVE VAMPY SHADES, meskipun adek gue bilang gue keliatan kayak tokoh antagonis kalo udah pake lipstik vampy, emang gue pikirin?!. The same as Instigator, Stingraye is also 2nd batch, and as you can see from the picture it was dried already on my upper lip while it still looks a bit shiny on the lower lip. This shade is definitely one of my favorite everrr!. I hope this is not limited edition. *fingerscrossed*

Overall, I love these Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick! I always have at least one of them in my make up bag where ever I go. Love the formula, the matte finish, the shades... OMG there are sooo many different shade options, trust me one of the reason why I was late to jump on the bandwagon is because I was waiting for enough lip swatches to convince me, also just to make sure I won't end up with the wrong shade. I think it's clear enough that my obsession towards lipstick is not going away anytime soon. I still have my eyes on some liquid lipsticks from other brands. Iye tau, bibirnya satu, lipstiknya banyak haha walaupun cakupan warna dari Colourpop buanyak banget, tapi gue penasaran sama formula liquid lipstik merk tetangga, jadi tunggu review-review lipstik lainnya sodara-sodara!.
