Project Pan #1

After I finished some of my stuffs (read my Product Empties post here) and re-organized my make up, I also collect up all of the products that already hit pan and doesn't have much left. I'm trying to use them more so I can finish them and buy new products again, that's the cycle. I know that 2/3 of it includes Revlon products, which I already mentioned in my Empties post as well that I am not going to buy their products anymore simply because they fund all the cruel things that happened in Palestine.

So here's the list of product on my first Project Pan:

Revlon Powder Blush | Soft Spoken
This is actually my mom's but she barely use it anymore since she got one from Make Over already, and I think she didn't really like it either because I can see that it is quite sheer even building it up doesn't help much. This blush barely show up on my light-medium skin tone, I wonder how it looks like on my mom whose skin is a bit darker than mine.

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain | Honey
I love this balm stain. It gives a beautiful and natural pink stain on my lips that last hours and I really like the mint scent. It's moisturizing too since it's a balm, but the moisturizing effect won't last long, once it's gone it feels a bit drying on me. I use this almost everyday and sometimes I use this on my cheek too.

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain | Adore
The first lipstick that I ever bought because I wanted to look pretty for my boyfriend's graduation and I like the crayon packaging but Honey was out of stock. Although it seems to be a browny red shade, on my lips it turns to be slightly orange. So I don't use this as much as Honey.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter | Macaroon
I got this along with my emptied Pink Truffle on Buy 1 Get 1 promo. I don't like this as much as Pink Truffle because despite the pretty pinky peach shade, it has a lot of shimmers in it and when the lipstick has gone, there must be some shimmers left on my lips. That's just ugh.

Tony Moly Berry Girl Concealer | #001
I never need much of concealer but I always wanted to try one to highlight my face, so when I saw this at Tony Moly store 70% sale, I grabbed it without thinking. The texture is creamy, blends easily and feels light on the skin. Setting it with powder is a must because it still crease especially around my glasses. But the applicator's sucks, the doe foot just came off little by little and now all that's left is the plastic wand.

Silky Girl Double Intense Liquid Liner | Blackest Black
I have a full review of this here. I just want this to be empty as quick as possible so I can get a new eyeliner in a pen form with a better formula and real water proof too. I still have a gel liner, but I want pen liner because it looks more practical and more simple without the hassle of dipping the brush or applicator into the tube/pot back and forth.

L - R : Soft Spoken, Honey, Adore, Macaroon, #001, Blackest Black

After these products has gone, I'm planning to buy a cream blush from Beauty Story or Mustika Ratu (they're both Indonesian local brands), or blushes from City Color. And to replace the Color Burst Balm Stain there are lots of other options with similar packaging and concept from Wet n' Wild or Jordana with a much lower prices, so I'm good!. Have you done any project pan?

  3. This is a great idea to do with products you've hit pan on!! Sometimes when I hit pan on things I try to save them because I'm sad lol! But if it's something I really love and want to purchase again, I get excited to get a new fresh one. I mostly need to work on finishing up some foundations I have.

    1. Is it because it becomes drying after a few minutes? if it wasn't for the project I guess I wouldn't use it as much either. Thanks for stopping by Coco, I'm a fan of your blog! :D

  6. Silky Girl is a decent budget brand, back before I start falling in love with makeup, I bought a lot of their products. It didn't bother me back then because I just needed something to apply on my face. LOL! I have two Revlon Lip Butter but both made my lips very dry after a couple of hours, do you experience the same?

    1. it made my lips dry too after a few hours, especially the ones with shimmers. I think it's typical problems in Revlon lipsticks :/
