Nude Lipsticks Collection
Assalamu'alaikum! Hi girls! It's been a long time, I know.. and it's too late to say Happy New Year 2016 already, but how's everyone doing? I'm being serious here, I'm asking you guys how are you guys doing lately cause I haven't read blogs or catch up on my Bloglovin' feed for a long time. I am also pleasantly surprised that I haven't lost any single followers at all though I haven't posted anything since November 2015, and I apologize for that, I'm just simply lazy that's all.
Just because I've stopped blogging in the past 4 months, that doesn't mean I stopped shopping make up. Yeah, like that's even possible, there was one time where I bought 2 lipsticks at the same day when all I wanted to do was to have some sushi for lunch. Of course I felt guilty.. but hey, I managed to declutter some of my make up as well! I gave them away to my sister, mom, and my cousin. The majority of them were my lipsticks, so I only left with one small pouch full of lipsticks! YES LADIES I CAN FIT ALL OF MY LIPSTICK COLLECTION IN ONE SMALL POUCH NOW. That gives me reason to buy more lipsticks right? :P
Okay now on to the main topic of this post, Nude Lipsticks, that I picked as the result of my recent lipstick purchase includes two nude shades, the perfect nude that matches my skin tone per-fect-ly. And guess what? Out of 5 lipsticks up there, only one of it that's not made in Indonesia and you guys probably have guessed it already, it is Wet n' Wild Megalast Lipstick. And there's Mirabella Fruity Colorfix Lipstick that I also reviewed, but I just wanted to put these two along cause they're nude and I need to compare each shade with the others. So, let's just cut to the chase shall we?

Wet n' Wild Megalast Lipstick - Bare it All (REVIEWED)
Who hasn't heard about this lipstick? This lipstick has it all. The quality, longevity, huge range of colors, and Bare it All is one of the famous ones cause it is said to be the dupe for MAC Velvet Teddy. Although on my warm skin tone, this shade turned out to be more peachy pink rather than muted pink with brown under tone like Velvet Teddy is. As I posted the swatches on my instagram, someone left a comment saying that it looks like the dupe of MAC Kinda Sexy instead, and she is right! So if any of you guys with warm, yellow under tone, asian typical kinda skin tone somewhere around NC25-NC30 like me, and you're looking for the alternative of MAC Kinda Sexy, this one is for you.
Make Over Ultra Hi-Matte Lipstick - 016 Silhouette
The new addition to Make Over's UHM lipstick series range. When I saw this lipstick on Alodita, I thought it will look just like Bare it All on me, and I didn't expect I would pull it off without having to put full face make up on first, but to my surprise it looked good on me. It's the perfect peachy brown shade that doesn't wash me out. I already talked about this lipstick range as well on my Lipstik Matte Lokal #2 post, so I'm not gonna give you any further explanation other than to beware that since it's a lighter shade, and it sinks into fine lines of the lips due to it's creaminess (despite the fact that it sets to matte within minutes), it tends to leave white residue like most of light shades does.
Mirabella Fruity Colorfix - 03 (REVIEWED)
Don't be fooled by the hand swatch. Yes, it looks a lot similar to Silhouette, just a little bit a darker and a tad pinker, but on my lips Silhouette's peach side showed up more, while the Mirabella one will turn up to be muted pinky brown. This has been one of my go to lipstick, I always carry it in my coin purse (where I keep my lipsticks on the go) just in case I changed my mind and hate the way my lipstick turned out throughout the day.
Eternally High Matte Color Lip Smoothie - LMS 04 Creme Brulee
This lip cream is amazing! The soft creamy texture, the subtle vanilla scent, the matte finish, everything is just like NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. And the shade, it is the perfect pinky nude shade for me. It's just look so pretty on the lips. It's comfortable, non-drying, dries down to matte within minutes, it's not transferproof but it fades away nicely, and it's local! You can get it basically at any of your local department store. The only downside of this LMS is, this is the only nude shade they've got out of 3 other bright/bold shades.
Okay, I have been looking for this particular shade for awhile cause I heard it is a great dark brown shade that could be the alternative for Lime Crime's Salem. Sadly it turned out to be more reddish brown on my pale lips, so I shouldn't have categorized it as nude, but I'm not in the mood to make a whole review on a single lipstick at the moment. Texture wise, the colorfix series is a lot more creamier compared to the fruity series, but they both have matte finish, and could survive a meal or two as long as it's not too oily.
So that's all the nude lipsticks I've got right now. I even shocked myself that I only have 4 nude lipsticks left. For those of you wondering why the hell am I writing this post in English if almost all of the lipsticks belongs to Indonesian Brands anyway, it's just that my brain currently works in English mode, and I'm considering to take IELTS Prep class too, so I think writing in English might help me to get better. Thank you so much for those of you who still reads my blog, I really really appreciate it and it motivates me to work on my blog a lot more from now on. See you soon on my next post!
